International Students Program

Mt. SAC has a lively and growing international student population with a majority of participants coming from Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, and China. International students are welcomed with an informative orientation where they meet with College administrators and other students. An international student counselor is available to help students with everything from selecting the appropriate classes to help with personal concerns. Technical assistance is also available for help with immigration issues and understanding F-1 visa regulations.

  • Confidential Financial Support
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): We require a minimum score of 133 on the computer-based test, 450 on the paper-based test or 45 on the Internet-based test
  • High School or College Transcripts
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test


Deadline to Submit Application

  • Summer: First Monday of April
  • Fall: First Monday of June
  • Spring: First Monday of December

Attending a community college is the most affordable way to get a quality education in the United States. Here is a cost estimate for a full-time international student taking 24 units at Mt. SAC for a year (fees subject to change):

Full-time tuition and required fees: $5,672

How To Enroll

Mt. San Antonio College will make every effort to help International F-1 Visa students accomplish their goals. However, there are certain regulations, which must be followed by all International F-1 Visa Students in order to satisfy conditions set by U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS).

You will be required to:

  • Enroll as a full-time student in at least 12 credits of college courses per semester. Summer session is optional
  • Maintain a 2.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or better
  • Pay tuition expenses in full at time of registration

International students who wish to attend Mt. San Antonio College must fill out the online college application as well as submit the International F-1 Visa Student Admissions application.
