- What do I need to do transfer in sociology?
To earn an Associate in Arts in Sociology for Transfer, a student must complete 60 semester units that are eligible for transfer to the CSU system that consist of the IGETC patter or CSU GE breadth and a major of 18 units more. Students earning an associate degree for transfer will not be required to complete any other local graduation requirements. The ADT in Sociology is designed to assist students in seamlessly transferring to a CSU major in Sociology.
Basically:- Complete 60 CSU transferrable units (18 units in major), all Soc classes are 3 units
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all CSU-transferable coursework ....and that's it!
