Security Week 2013

Save the Date: 9th Oct to 11th Oct 2013

Security week is a free event held each year in the fall during October the national month for Security. The conference is a gateway for students, staff, faculty administrators and the community at large to learn and engage in safe practices in cybersecurity.

Why attend?

When you are connected  directly or not connected to the digital world, the worldwide connection of computers, data, mobile devices and websites supports our everyday lives through financial transactions, transportation systems, healthcare records, emergency response systems, personal communications, and more.

The more dependent we are on digital technology and its advances becomes more widespread, the more we need to keep apace with it. If we are to maximize the convenience, speed, and future potential of a digital society, we must protect the resource that makes it possible.
