With an estimated 25,650
Full-Time Equivalent Students (FTES), Mt. SAC is among
the largest single-campus districts of California's 109
community colleges. The student age range is from 10 to
90 years, taking into account programs designed for children
and older adults. Nearly two-thirds of the student population
is in the 18-25 age range. Ethnically, the majority of
students are of Hispanic origin, followed by Anglo, Asian,
African American and Filipino.
