Beginning with Mt. SAC’s 2018 summer intersession, students will be able to complete classes required for the California Bureau of Real Estate Sales License Examination fully online—without having to come on campus. Mt. SAC’s summer intersession begins June 21.

“Education is changing and while I personally prefer a traditional or face-to-face classroom experience, we have many students who face transportation issues and family and work conflicts, which make commuting to campus difficult if not impossible,” said Mt. SAC Real Estate Program Coordinator Edwin Estes.

Two of the three required courses being offered are Real Estate Principles (BUSR50) and Real Estate Practice (BUSR52). The third course can be any real estate or related class approved by the Bureau of Real Estate. One of the approved courses being offered in the summer is Business Law (BUSL 18).

Real estate courses taken at Mt. SAC carry college credit and are typically transferable to other colleges and universities.

The schedule for the summer session is available online at https://www.mtsac.edu/schedule/summer.html .
