National School Walkout

More than 1,000 Mt. SAC students, faculty, and staff participated in the National School Walkout on March 14 to show unity with students nationwide to stand up against gun violence.
The purpose of the walkout was to demand legislators take action in response to gun violence on campuses across the country.
The walkout, held from 10 a.m. to 10:17 a.m., comes a month after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida where 17 people were killed.
