Early Morning Standstill

An early morning accident Wednesday, Mar. 14, on westbound Temple Avenue near Bonita Drive brought traffic to a standstill as cars jammed Temple Avenue past Cal Poly and into Pomona.

Sheriffs and campus police responded to a 6:30 a.m. accident as the driver of a gray Ford Focus hit a block wall south of campus Lot F and the car flipped over. The driver, a student, sustained unknown injuries. In the accident, the car’s engine was separated from the car.

Campus police rerouted westbound traffic through Lot F, and Temple Avenue reopened at 8:20 a.m.
