Mt. SAC Among Top 24 Minority Associate Degree Producers

Mt. SAC recently ranked 24th in the nation among colleges awarding associate degrees to minority students in 2017, according to Diverse: Issues in Higher Education magazine.

 According to the data, Mt. SAC ranked 24th in the U.S. with 1,687 minority students graduating with associate degrees in all disciplines combined. Mt. SAC also ranked 19th in the nation among colleges awarding associate degrees to Hispanics. In addition, the college ranked second in nation in psychology degrees awarded to minority students, seventh in business degrees, and seventh in legal professions/studies degrees.

Mt. SAC’s student body is 54% Hispanic, 18% Asian, 10% White, 3% African-American, 3% Pacific Islander/Filipino, and 2% Multi-Ethnic.
