President Bill Scroggins is the recent recipient of the Atta Bear award, which was given to him by the VOICES Committee for his ongoing support of employee recognition.

This is the last time the Atta Bear will be awarded as the bear will retire shortly.

The Mt. SAC Atta Bear award originated from the Quality Steering Committee in the mid-1990’s and was presented to a Mt. SAC staff member who demonstrates the Mt. SAC spirit, outstanding service, and/or extraordinary teaching. The first Atta Bear was awarded in September 1996 to Assistant to the President Jane Faulkner.
