Southern California Edison affirmed its longstanding commitment to cultivate a new generation of professionals in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines (STEM) by awarding $25,000 in scholarships to STEM students at Mt. SAC. Presenting the check to President Bill Scroggins at a recent luncheon honoring the Edison $cholars were SCE Public Affairs Managers Rick Meza and Marlon Walker. This award marks the latest of Edison contributions to the Mt. SAC scholarship endowment (over $100,000), which has helped deserving students to pursue their career goals over the years. “We value our partnership with Edison and are very grateful to the company for its vision, generosity, and commitment to our students and to higher education overall,” said Scroggins.
