Academics in the Music Department
Mt. SAC's diverse music curriculum spans the entire spectrum. The program offers a comprehensive undergraduate music program, with outstanding courses, programs, and opportunities for students. Additionally, the program offers music degrees for transfer students, as well as a degree for students who do not plan on attending a four-year university.

Students completing college-level theory prior to attending Mt. SAC, as well as voice students with highly-developed aural skills, may want to test out of the first semester of theory (Music 2 and 5A). Please click here for more information.
