Paul Jefferson

Professor Jefferson has been a member of Mt. SAC faculty since 2001. He has 32 years of law enforcement experience. Jefferson began his career with the Los Angeles Police Department. His assignments included traffic control, patrol, vice, swat, anti terrorist division, gangs, narcotics, community relations, internal affairs, and training division. He retired at the rank of Captain.

Professor Jefferson then served seven years as Chief of Police for the City of Modesto California. At Modesto, he oversaw a department of 400 employees of which 262 employees were sworn officers.
