Paramedic Textbooks
For program preparation, the following 4 books are mandatory. The publisher's textbooks may be bought in advance of the program, but the EMT Curriculum is a special order item that will be discussed at the Orientation.

Anatomy and Physiology for Paramedics by AAOS
There are other supportive textbooks for the Paramedic Program upon acceptance that will be discussed at the program Orientation. Do not worry about studying advanced information such as cardiology prior to the program. The most important focus for your preparation should be improving your grasp of your EMT knowledge, medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology.
