The exploration of space is the greatest endeavor that humankind has ever undertaken. What does it take to be part of this incredible journey? What does it take to become an astronaut? Discover the perils that lurk in space as we subject “Chad,” our test astronaut, to everything that space has to throw at him.
Two children are on the adventure of a lifetime when they build a rocket out of cardboard. They go on an exciting journey through the solar system using nothing but an astronomy book, their own imaginations, and the magic of the cardboard rocket.

Awesome Light: Discoveries From the Telescopes of Mauna Kea. Mt. SAC is excited to have a new telescope observatory open this summer. Find out what discoveries can be made with telescopes by experiencing the observatories in Mauna Kea, Hawaii. Chase asteroids with NASA’s Infrared Telescope, watch supernovae through the giant 2.2 meter optical telescope, and share stories with the astronomers of tomorrow.
One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure: Big Bird, Elmo and their friend from China, Hu Hu Zhu, take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun, and the Moon. 30 minutes - Recommended for preschool age kids
Star Tales, Listen to the stories behind the stars and constellations and planets you can see tonight and learn how to find them from your own backyard.  50 minutes
Two Small Pieces of Light: The Amazing Telescope. Mysterious moons, icy rings and distant galaxies were all unknown before the invention of the telescope. Come see 
Two Small Pieces of Glass, a full dome digital planetarium show, where you’ll visit a local star party and discover the cosmos through the telescope.
