Awesome Light—   Mt. SAC is excited to have a new telescope observatory open this summer. Find out what discoveries can be made with telescopes by experiencing the observatories in Maunakea, Hawaii. Chase asteroids with NASA’s Infrared Telescope, watch supernovae through the giant 2.2 meter optical telescope, and share stories with the astronomers of tomorrow.

Birthday Party Package— Celebrate your little astronomer’s birthday in the planetarium! Your party package will include:

  • Your child’s name and photo featured on the planetarium dome!
  • Pilot the shuttle for a Mission to the Moon! (40-minute planetarium show)
  • Tables and chairs with birthday decorations in the planetarium lobby where your guests enjoy cake, ice cream or open presents. (We do not cater. Please provide your own refreshments)
  • Rocket building and launching!
