LIBR 1 - Information Resources and Research Methods (3 units)

Course Description:

Research methods necessary for independent research and critical thinking that support information competency.  Includes finding, evaluating, and documenting information using traditional and electronic resources, including the Internet.  Basic computer skills are necessary for searching, navigation, and citation.

LIBR 1A - Introduction to Library Research (1 unit)

Course Description:

Basic research skills for lifelong information competency necessary for independent research and critical thinking. Topics include search strategies, citation, and use of library resources.
