distance learning at Mount San Antonio college

Are College Credits Given?

Yes. Virtual Classroom courses are fully equivalent to the traditional Mt. San Antonio College course. A Web-based class will show on your transcript no differently than any other course taken at Mt. San Antonio College.

Just as with courses on campus, requirements vary for each course. In addition to watching the televised lessons or learning by computer, you must read your text, complete assignments, and take exams. Each course has specific requirements very much like the on-campus sections of the same class. Your professor will explain the class assignments at the orientation meeting. Times and locations are listed for each course in the following class schedule.

Do I need to be a Mt. San Antonio College Student?

Yes. Because Online and Hybrid classes are just like "regular" classes - the only difference being how the class material is delivered to you, you must register like any other Mt. San Antonio College student.
