The Computer Classroom in the Writing Center (CC) houses thirty computers containing MSWord, MSPowerPoint, grammar and punctuation software, and internet access. A projection system and ELMO (document camera) are also available. Instructors can reserve this room for class use. Typically instructors use the CC for in-class writing sessions, grammar and punctuation review, demonstrations on conducting research via the Mt. SAC library databases and the internet, or introducing the gateway to an online or hybrid class. A certified English tutor is available to instructors as a lab/classroom assistant. |
