THE HONORS PROGRAM

The Honors Scholar Program

If you complete 30 units*, including 15 units of Honors courses with a "C" or better, and achieve a 3.2 cumulative bachelor-level GPA, you can be certified as a Mt. SAC Honors Scholar.

*To use units from another school toward this certification, please see Linda Diaz, the Honors Advisor or Carolyn Kuykendall, Honors Director.

Honors Scholars are recognized in the following ways:

• Notation on transcript as a "Certified Honors Program Scholar"
• Designation in the Commencement Program booklet
• Honors medal
• Honors Scholar Certificate
• Invitation to Honors Celebration Dinner for transferring and graduating Honors Scholar
