The Honors
Ambassadors organizes social, educational, and service
events for Honors students. Past events have included game
nights, bowling night, films, visiting the Getty Center,
and development of an Honors Scholarship. Honors Ambassadors
promote the Honors Program on campus and at local high schools.

Honors Societies
Becoming a member of an honorary society has many benefits. It provides a social network, leadership opportunities, and,
in some cases, eligibility for scholarships. If you qualify
for honors, you probably also qualify for these honor societies,
so if you haven't done so already, check them out! The following
honors societies have chapters at Mt. SAC. Each has different
membership criteria.
- Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society
- 3.5
cumulative GPA
- Completion of 12
transferable units
