Dean Chen

Dean Meghan Chen Welcomes You
to Distance Learning at Mt.SAC

The Distance Learning Program at Mt. SAC consists of two types of classes - online and hybrid.

Online classes are delivered primarily via the Internet and have few or no meetings on campus.

Hybrid classes are also delivered via the Internet but have several or many required on-campus meetings. Check with your instructor of the hybrid course for on-campus meeting details.

All Distance Learning courses are regular, transferable college credit courses. These courses provide some alternatives for students who cannot come to campus each week or prefer more flexibility in their weekly schedule. Much of the study is independent. Students must have an Internet connection and a updated & current version of one of the major web browsers to participate.

For questions about the Distance Learning Program, contact Meghan Chen, Dean of Library & Learning Resources: (909) 594-5611 x 5658 or email her at mchen@mtsac.edu.
