The Older Adult Program provides opportunities for students to develop and share a new vision of life's second half, to challenge the mind, to acquire new skills, to stay mentally and physically fit, and to share knowledge and experience with peers and younger people.
Developing throughout life and continuing to grow in mind and body is a core value of Mt. San Antonio College. The Older Adult Program course offerings represent the full continuum of education, from vocational classes to the pursuit of long-standing educational goals.
The Older Adult Program strives to remove barriers while addressing learning styles, special needs, and preferences of older adults. More than 40 faculty members educate our OAP students. Classes are available at over 25 off-campus senior centers and residential facilities throughout the Mt. San Antonio College District (see Off- Campus Locations). There are over 150 classes offered weekly and 4,800+ students enrolled annually. These courses are designed for older adults (age 55+ years). However, anyone 18 years of age and older may enroll.
