Our mission is to help students get the language and cultural skills they need to achieve their academic and career goals. They may wish to get a better education, a better job, or both. Perhaps they want to feel comfortable with American friends and daily life. Their children may be improving in English, and they want to keep up with them and help them with their school work. Or they may wish to apply for citizenship in their new country. These are all important goals that we want to help our students reach.
Our department offers different programs for different needs. Classes are available in ESL, Vocational ESL (VESL), TOEFL Preparation, and Citizenship Preparation. Students can benefit from counseling and career guidance as well as seminars and career conferences. Our well-equipped Language Learning Center (LLC) gives students extra opportunities to practice their English skills.

We have a very dedicated, professional, and creative team of teachers, tutors, and staff. We are working to provide personalized services, courses that are relevant to students’ needs, and teaching methods that will help them learn well. Our students, in turn, do all they can to participate in class, study, and use their English in their daily life. Together, we are achieving great things!

Explore the programs and services of the ESL Department. People who come to the United States from other countries bring their ideas, values, and a willingness to work hard in order to make their dreams come true. Our students help make this country a better place. We are glad they are here, and we want them to succeed.
