California Motorcyclist Safety Program – Motorcyclist Training Course
This 15-hour course includes 5 hours of lecture time and 10 hours on the range. Students are obligated to comply with all rules and regulations established by Motorcycle Safety Foundation and Mt. San Antonio College.
To take the course a student must hold a valid drivers license, instruction permit or have successfully completed a driver education program. Students must be on time for all sessions and arrive 15 minutes prior to the beginning of riding sessions - late arrivals will be dismissed from the course without a certificate or refund. If a participant drops from the Motorcyclist Training Course due to an emergency or other unforeseen event, such participant has up to six (6) months from the original registration date to return as a stand-by and complete the training. Anyone returning after that six month period will need to pay the full registration fee again.
The fees for the Basic Rider Course are as follows: Under the age of 21 is $180. Age 21 and over is $258.

Mt. SAC College is licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles to provide this eight-hour course. YOU MUST RECEIVE PERMISSION FROM THE COURT of jurisdiction prior to enrolling in this course. Pre-registration is required. Students MUST attend all required hours of instruction in order to receive a certificate at the end of the class.
