CONTINUING EDUCATION

Student Learning Goals (SLG)

“The Continuing Education Division will provide outstanding educational opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds who are seeking self-improvement, enhanced earning power, increased literacy skills, and access to higher education and employment.”

Our Student Learning Goals

We will prepare our students to be:

  • Effective Communicators
  • Critical Thinkers
  • Lifelong Learners

Student Learning Goals (SLGs) are a global type of Student Learning Outcome (SLO). They are interdisciplinary statements about what all students should know, understand, and be able to do by the time they complete their planned program. SLGs provide the foundation for a comprehensive assessment of all programs across the Continuing Education Division.
