Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Basic Skills Department, Community Education Center , offers an array of educational, vocational and support services to adult and high school students. The Center is committed to providing excellent basic skills and comprehensive supportive services. Individuals can receive assessment, career and academic counseling, educational advisement, employment assistance, high school diploma classes, and preparation for the high school equivalency and the military entrance exam. The Community Education Center is also host to several grant funded programs that assist CalWORKs participants who want to pursue a career in the child development field. These services are a part of the matriculation process to move students into the workforce and continue with life long learning.
