BRIEF BIO
Professor Mee Shum earned a Le Cordon Bleu culinary
arts degree from the California School of
Culinary Arts. She is trained in the arts
of French Cuisine, and has broad experience
in the foodservice industry, including catering,
restaurant production and management. After
Prof. Shum completed her Culinary Arts degree,
she immediately received the opportunity to
work for one of the most celebrated chefs
in the nation, Chef Wolfgang Puck, and for
the past years, she been working for one of
his many famous establishments, where she
held the position of Pastry Chef. Prof. Shum
is excited to join the staff a Mount San Antonio
College, and is looking forward to the opportunity
of working with students and sharing her knowledge
and experience about the demanding yet rewarding
career in the culinary industry.
