Each year this chapter raises money for the Student Scholarship Fund. The money is raised through raffle ticket sales at each chapter meeting for which the prizes are donated by chapter members. The annual scholastic award is for a minimum of $500. The scholarship money is awarded at the beginning of the Fall term to a designated hospitality student in order to help with tuition fees, books and supplies. The Scholarship Chair helps create the criteria for choosing the designated student. The process of choosing a student varies slightly from year to year but generally includes an application process and an essay requirement. For more information, contact Don St. Hilaire - listed on the Board of Directors section in this web site.
