Brief Bio:
Dr. Al-Malood is a fulltime faculty and Coordinator of the Hospitality and Restaurant
Management Program at Mt. San Antonio College.
He received his academic and professional training in Hospitality Management in the
United States, Europe and the Middle East. Over the past decade he has
lived and worked in four countries.
Prior to receiving his academic appointment, Dr. Al-Malood held positions with companies
like: The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton, Starwood and others.

Brief Bio:
Professor Weatherilt was born and raised on the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados
in the West Indies. She moved to Southern California with her family and
earned most of her secondary education and all of her college education here.
She and her sister were the first in her family to receive college educations.
Professor Weatherilt's undergraduate degree is in Dietetics and Food
Administration from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and her Masters
degree is in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Communication also
from CSULB. She is a Registered Dietitian with a background in public
health and is committed to helping people learn healthy behaviors and implement simple
lifestyle changes to improve the quality of life.
Professor Weatherilt has been teaching at Mt. SAC since 2001. She hopes
to have the opportunity to meet you in one of her classes, or simply meet and chat
on campus about nutrition.
