Quality Training For Success
Our faculty are dedicated to ensuring that students who attend our program receive
solid practical skills that would prepare them for success in the real world as
employees, managers, or entrepreneurs. Our program has a mandatory
internship component, emphasizes capstone projects, and promotes high standards.
Many of our students have already achieved success by attaining the professional
goals they had established for themselves.

Accelerated Graduation
We realize that many students face challenges in being able to find the classes that
they need in order to graduate or transfer in a timely manner. That is
why we in the HRM program at Mt. SAC do our best to offer core classes to students
on a rotational basis.
Dedicated fill-time students in the HRM program
are typically able to complete their core required subjects within one year, and
earn an A.S. degree within two years. Individual certificates can be
earned in as little as one semester.

Transferability
|
40% of Mt. SAC students enrolled in the Hospitality and Restaurant Management (HRM)
program plan on transferring to
The Collins School of Hospitality Management
, located
at the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. The Collins School
of Hospitality Management is ranked among the Top 3 schools in the country.
With that in mind, the HRM program at Mt. SAC established the strongest articulation
(transfer) agreement in California with the Collins School of Hospitality Management
enabling our students to transfer most of their HRM credits to the Collins School.
