fashion field focuses on the social, economic, and technological aspects of clothing
and textiles and prepares students for careers in fashion design, manufacturing,
retailing, and promotion.
The term "fashion" is broad, encompassing not only apparel merchandise but home
furnsishings, sports, toys, foods, and most other consumer products. Career
fields are growing each year and include film and entertainment, advertising, product
development, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and sales.
