INSP 70 - Elements of
                Construction   (3 units)
This course presents the fundamentals of construction processes, terminology and procedures.  Provides an overview of the construction industry to those who may have an interest in the construction industry and related fields.
(54 hours lecture;      Degree appropriate, CSU)

Course Measurable Objectives:

  1. Describe the construction industry and its relationship with society such as allied professions, consumers and the general public.
  2. Recognize principles of construction theory and common practices appropriate to the project.
  3. Use standard terminology appropriate to the construction industry.
  4. Apply construction processes to a common project.
  5. Apply CPM scheduling technique to a simple construction project.
