ARCH 21 Course Image
Application of methods and theory used in architectural design projects.   Includes graphic technique, design process, site analysis, presentation drawings and construction principles.  Portfolio will be produced.
(36 hours lecture;   72 hours lab;      Degree applicable, CSU)

Course Measurable Objectives:

  1. Apply the design process to create small building design(s).
  2. Present and evaluate designs using design drawings, 3-D models and verbal presentations.
  3. Demonstrate professional values and practices.
  4. Produce a portfolio reflecting building design skills.
  5. Apply design principles, knowledge of codes, and construction materials/methods to building design.
