This course covers basic CAD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) and computer application
in architecture, engineering and related fields (including basic word processing,
spreadsheet, CAD and presentation applications).
Students who repeat this course will improve skills through further instruction and practice.

Eligibility for
MATH 51 - Elementary Algebra

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Use CAD software for scaled drawings.
- Utilize common software for word processing for basic report/specification writing.
- Demonstrate an ability to use common software in spreadsheet and graphic presentation, etc., for applications such as basic tabulation, estimating, graphs, etc.
- Design a portfolio reflecting basic CAD and computer skills.
- Evaluate software for effectiveness in drawing appropriate scales on drawings.
