This course presents architectural and interior illustration including perspective drawing,
sketching, shades and shadows, entourage, and color application utilizing various media
and development of project portfolio.

(36 hours lecture; 72 hours lab; Degree appropriate, CSU, UC)

Advisory Prerequisite:
ARCH 11 - Architectural Drawing
or equivalent experience.

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Discuss application of various architectural and interior illustrations.
- Identify and evaluate the characteristics of graphic design principles.
- Evaluate graphic design applications as they relate to the architectural and interior design professions.
- Solve graphic design problems in a studio environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to use various techniques of tool and media use in solving studio problems.
- Develop professional skills of presentation and visual communication using a variety of media.
