Course Measurable Objectives:
- Identify common building materials and typical construction details (up to 16 divisions).
- Classify common building materials according to CSI format.
- Utilize appropriate materials and their application for building design.
- Recognize key elements of contract documents (to include general conditions, bid documents, material specifications and construction drawings).
- Describe the relationship of the various construction trades in their application of construction specifications.
- Research and develop construction specifications based on CSI (Construction Specification Institute) format.
