This course covers basic graphic and drawing techniques, including architectural graphics,
building construction fundamentals, and methods of drawings considered prerequisite to
architectural design.

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Define and use basic architectural nomenclature related to the design of structures.
- Perform the various drawing standards and conventions used in architecture.
- Demonstrate an understanding of building layout using templates and design principles.
- Develop an initial portfolio representing basic drawing skills, architectural conventions, descriptive geometry, and 2-D and 3-D perspective drawings.
- Demonstrate an understanding of construction theory and principles and their application to design.
- Define professionalism within the context of the architecture and design profession.
