ARCH 10 Course Image
Fundamentals of two- and three-dimensional design and design process.   Elements include visualization, perception, presentation, expression, and site analysis of physical/contextual/cultural aspects of design and/or the urban environment.   A portfolio will be produced.
(36 hours lecture;   72 hours lab;      Degree appropriate, CSU)

Course Measurable Objectives:

  1. Use design tools and equipment of the profession.
  2. Apply graphic principles/standards and conventions used in 2D/3D architectural design.
  3. Apply concepts of creativity and design process.
  4. Define the architectural profession and its relationship to society.
  5. Produce a portfolio reflecting basic design skills.
