This course teaches the basic skills and in-depth practice operating the Apple
Macintosh computer. Includes introduction to the operating system,
paint, draw, word-processing, database, spreadsheet, and multi-media applications.

(May be taken for option of letter grade or Credit / No Credit.)

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Operate and manipulate the mouse to access all levels of the file structure and to do all desktop-related tasks.
- Use the operating system to manage files and folders.
- Use Apple System Preferences.
- Utilize keyboard shortcuts instead of the mouse.
- Prepare and maintain removable media for file transfer.
- Create documents in a variety of applications.
- Create a hierarchical file structure.
- Utilize multitasking features.
