This course covers the concepts of network vulnerabilities from a hacker's perspective.
The course addresses the latest cutting edge attacks and common attacks
still prevalent through hands-on lab assignments. Students will explore
legal issues associated with computer network attacks. The course also
provides the student with the knowledge they need to design, build, and operate network
systems to prevent, detect, and respond to attacks.

- Explain fundamental concepts of network vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Demonstrate the skill to penetrate service vulnerability.

- Prepare for the entry-level positions in the network security industry.
- Prepare for the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification.
- Define the importance of legal and ethical conduct in using computer network system.
