  • gateways, routers, bridges, and applications
  • creating Linux intranets

Course Measurable Objectives:

  1. Plan, install, configure and manage Linux Operating System network.
  2. Select and implement efficient connections of Linux and Windows computers to a Linux network.
  3. Evaluate, install and manage Linux networking hardware and software.
  4. Select and install security modules for Linux networks.
  5. Determine and install efficient connections of a Linux network to Internet.
  6. Evaluate need and install Linux gateways, routers and bridges.
  7. Select, install and manage Linux network services.

Course Level Student Learning Outcomes:


Students completing CISN 34 - Linux Networking Linux Networking and Security will be able to:
  1. install a SAMBA server in a Linux computer.
