- IP addressing
- network protocols and servers
- gateways, routers, bridges, and applications
- creating Linux intranets
- connecting to the Internet

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Plan, install, configure and manage Linux Operating System network.
- Select and implement efficient connections of Linux and Windows computers to a Linux network.
- Evaluate, install and manage Linux networking hardware and software.
- Select and install security modules for Linux networks.
- Determine and install efficient connections of a Linux network to Internet.
- Evaluate need and install Linux gateways, routers and bridges.
- Select, install and manage Linux network services.

Students completing CISN 34 - Linux Networking Linux Networking and Security will be able to:
- install a SAMBA server in a Linux computer.
