This beginning course gives the student an introduction to spreadhseet concepts
using Microsoft Excel. Topics covered include:
- formatting
- formula and function use
- charting
- linking worksheets

- pivot tables
- macros
- VBA code basics

The student receives hands-on instruction on a Windows-based personal computer.

- Analyze, create, edit and format various business-related spreadsheets.
- Use formulas and functions in worksheets.
- Effectively create and use charts to visually enhance worksheet data.
- Create and edit macros to make using workbooks easier for users.
- Display worksheets on the Web.
