PLGL 47B Course Image
In this course students will present a case and evaluate the effectiveness of their presentation.  Continuous revision of opening arguments, closing arguments, direct examinations, and cross-examinations.
(27 hours lecture;      Degree appropriate)

Course Measurable Objectives:

  1. Apply the litigation techniques acquired in Litigation Procedures.
  2. Evaluate effectiveness of oral arguments.
  3. Analyze methods of improving oral arguments.
  4. Revise oral arguments for more effective presentation.
  5. Present oral arguments based on opposing arguments.

Course Level Student Learning Outcomes:


Students completing PLGL 47B - Litigation Practice will:
  1. be able to locate, evaluate, organize, and synthesize research material from a variety of sources.
  2. have a basic understanding of the procedural and evidentiary rules used to challenge and/or fend off challenges to the presentation of proffered evidence (i.e., objections and offers of proof).
