This course covers the creation, scope, and administrative function of federal
bankruptcy proceedings and arrangements.
Topics include wage earner plans and insolvency proceedings.

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Compare types of bankruptcy proceedings: liquidation bankruptcy and reorganization bankruptcy.
- Describe bankruptcy discharge and exemptions.
- Analyze legal forms for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, liquidation and discharge of debt.
- Identify problems with preferences and fraudulent conveyances.
- Analyze legal forms for a Chapter 11 business reorganization.
- Analyze legal forms for a Chapter 13 individual reorganization.
