Course Measurable Objectives:
- Identify laws relating to discovery.
- Demonstrate ability to prepare depositions and interrogatories.
- Apply knowledge of correct procedures for and preparation of law and motion documents.
- Define injunctions and writs of attachment and describe their uses.
- Identify grounds for entry of a summary judgment and preparation of a motion for summary judgment.
- Compare and contrast knowledge of the basis for requests for voluntary and involuntary dismissals.
- Evaluate essential elements of pre-trial settlement procedures.

Students completing PLGL 33B - Civil Procedure - Trial and Post-Trial will be able to:
- distinguish among the various discovery tools including depositions, interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- prepare a basic motion.
