This course presents the principles of business law emphasizing commercial paper, agency, partnerships, corporations, bankruptcy, regulation of trade and real property.

BUSL 18 - Business Law
or
BUSL 18H - Business Law - Honors

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Identify a negotiable instrument.
- Evaluate the defenses to negotiable instruments.
- Analyze agency and partnership principles.
- Distinguish the need for the corporate form of organization.
- Identify administrative agencies and problems relating to consumer protection, environment, antitrust, bankruptcy and labor relations.
