This course investigates the direction of people including guidance, control supervisory
problems, training, job analysis interviewing, testing, rating, and other functions
involving human resources. Designed to improve the overall understanding of
the relationship between the individual and the business organization.

Course Measurable Objectives:
- Explain theory and practical application of Equal Employment Opportunity current employment laws.
- Conduct a work analysis and write a job description and job specification.
- Define human resource management terms, applying them to class discussions.
- Develop a professional and personal career plan as a prerequisite to career planning/counseling of subordinates on the job.
- Develop interviewing skills as a prerequisite to work environment interviewing situations to applicants, performance, appraisals, disciplines.

Students completing BUSM 62 - Human Resource Management will:
- have discovered new knowledge that relate to discipline, technical and human skills, enabling them to be productive members of the community.
