The CIS Department has estabished these as their goals:
- Complete SLO evaluation for all CIS courses.
- Evaluate and revise all CIS courses in terms of content and learning objectives, number of lecture/lab units, and to comply with maximum hybrid or online LHEs restrictions.
- Hire a full-time CIS Instructor within the networking & security area.
- Train and use the next Learning Management System adopted by the college.
- Implement Microsoft Office 2010, Visual Studio 2010, and the latest version of other applications for all of our courses.
- Implement virtualization for building 17 classrooms and computer lab.
- Continue to purchase or introduce state-of-the art technology for CIS classrooms.
