Don't I need to be GE Certified to transfer? And what does that mean, anyway?
No, you do not need to be GE certified to transfer to Cal State Fullerton.
GE Certificateion means that Mt. San Antonio College has confirmed to Cal State Fullerton University that yoy have all of your lower division GE requirements me (the core 39 units). o; That means that even if CSU requirements change, your GE requirements will not. That also allows you to count Child Development classes at Mt. San Antonio College toward GE.
GE Certification does not mean that you won't need any more general education at Cal State Fullerton. Everyone who transfers has to take at least nine units of upper-division GE and some people need more.
