Mind Extraction

This exhibition consists of the artist's black and white drawings, demonstrating the artist's creative imagination through his innovative characters and elaborate scenes. He is heavily influenced by science fiction as demonstrated by the characters and the worlds they occupy. Their world typically consists of "strange rooms and eerie landscapes that are inhabited by even stranger abstract biomechanical life forms."

Artistic Vehicles de Magulandia

The colorful creations of Magu are the "vehicles" in which the transportation of ideas and dialogue between artist and the audience is communicated. The art is representative of the energy, life, and humor of the Chicano culture. His work is filled with bright colors that are lively and wildly imaginative which consist of low-riders, cultural aesthetics, and anthropomorphic characters who interact and dwell in the utopian society, Magulandia.

Fiber Reconstructed

fiber reconstructed exhibitThis exhibition displays traditional women's work created as contemporary art work. Quilts and traditional yarn crafting of yesteryear were once used for everyday necessities, but today these women have taken their skills to a new dimension, works of art for public and private display. Their assorted themes explore our changing world, unifying people, and the internal hidden aspects of our souls.
